Appointments

Except for emergencies, we work by appointment only.

You may reach the office by calling 330-856-3300 for an appointment. For emergencies after normal office hours, our answering service will take your information and an "on-call doctor" will get in contact with you.

If you know what type of exam you need it will greatly assist our staff in scheduling your appointment. This information allows us to improve our patient scheduling by allotting the proper amount of time.

Complete eye exams are generally performed on a yearly basis. Exams consist of a refraction, an evaluation of your need for glasses, as well as an evaluation of your ocular health. This generally requires dilation of the eyes with eye drops so that the eye can be fully assessed.

A medical treatment exam is an evaluation of the eyes for a new or existing medical condition that may require medical intervention. This exam may or may not require dilation drops and generally it does not include a refraction. If you are unsure of what you need to schedule, please ask our staff and we will be happy to assist in scheduling the proper appointment.
