Frank A. D’Apolito, OD

Frank A. D’Apolito, O.D. is a life long resident of Youngstown-Warren area. He joined Warren Ophthalmology Associates in 1982.

Dr. D’Apolito received his BS in Biology from Youngstown State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry where he was recognized as the outstanding clinician of the year and presented with the Lawrence P. Feigenbaum Award. He concentrated his studies on contact lenses and eye disease.

Dr. D’Apolito completed his externship at Murrough’s Eye Clinic in Santa Barbara, California. He also interned with Jessen Wesley Inc.,a private practice in Chicago dedicated to contact lenses.

Dr. D’Apolito continues to perform clinical research of contact lenses. He has lectured for Ciba Vision and Vistakon Contact Lens Companies.

Dr. D’Apolito is a past president of Ohio Vision Foundation and the Northeastern Ohio Optometric Association. He has also served on the boards of many community organizations.

Dr. D’Apolito and his wife, Valerie, have two boys.
